Even when it’s cold outside, this Sparkling Citrus Boba Spritz brings sunshine in a glass. It’s the perfect pick-me-up for National Drink Day, combining warm citrus notes, golden sparkle, and chewy Better Boba pearls. Think of it as winter’s way of saying: spring is almost here.

For a sweeter, tropical twist, use Better Boba mango pearls. For a tangy berry edge, use Better Boba strawberry pearls — both pair perfectly with the honeyed citrus base.

For the Boba:

  • ½ cup fresh orange juice (blood orange or mandarin works beautifully)

  • ¼ cup lemonade or yuzu juice

  • ½ tbsp honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • ½ cup sparkling water (chilled) — citrus-flavored if available

  • Ice cubes or crushed ice

  • Optional: orange slice, mint, or candied peel for garnish


🍯 Instructions

  1. Prepare the Boba:
    Cook Better Boba pearls according to the package directions. Once cooked, coat with honey (and a touch of lemon juice if desired). Let them sit warm — they’ll stay soft and glossy.

  2. Mix the Citrus Base:
    In a shaker or jar, combine orange juice, lemonade, and honey or syrup. Shake or stir until smooth.

  3. Assemble:

    • Spoon Better Boba into the bottom of your glass.

    • Add ice (optional for winter, or skip for a cozier, room-temperature version).

    • Pour in the citrus mixture.
