This drink channels Scorpio’s bold intensity with espresso richness, velvety butter pecan flavor, and the deep caramel chew of Better Boba’s brown sugar pearls. It’s the kind of drink that keeps you coming back for more… even when you know you’re hooked.


🧋 Ingredients (1–2 servings)

For the boba layer:

  • 2 shots of espresso (or ½ cup strong coffee)

  • ¾ cup milk or oat milk (Scorpio’s favorite: something silky)

  • 2 tbsp butter pecan syrup (store-bought or homemade — see below)

  • Ice

🧈 Homemade Butter Pecan Syrup Recipe (makes ~1 cup)

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup heavy cream or half & half
  • ¼ cup finely chopped pecans (toasted for best flavor)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (optional but recommended)

Instructions:

  1. Toast the Pecans (optional but SO good):
    Heat a small pan over medium heat and toast chopped pecans for 2–3 minutes until fragrant. Set aside.
  2. Make the Syrup Base:
    In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the brown sugar and cream. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Simmer:
    Let the mixture bubble gently for 2–3 minutes, stirring often. It will thicken slightly as it cooks.
  4. Add Flavor:
    Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, salt, and toasted pecans.
  5. Cool + Store:
    Let cool slightly. Use warm for drinks, or refrigerate up to 1 week. (It will thicken in the fridge — reheat for 10–15 seconds to loosen.)

• Brew espresso and stir in butter pecan syrup while hot.
• Let cool slightly.
• Add milk and stir until creamy.

• Add boba pearls to the bottom of a clear cup.
• Fill with ice.
