Bloom & Sip: Lavender Honey Milk Tea Boba for the First Day of Spring

March 20 marks the First Day of Spring — and we’re celebrating with something soft, floral, and beautifully refreshing.

This Lavender Honey Milk Tea is light yet comforting, delicately sweetened with honey, and layered with chewy Better Boba pearls for that signature spring bounce. It’s the kind of drink you’d sip on a sunny patio surrounded by blooming flowers.

Fresh season. Fresh sip.

🧋 Why This Is the Perfect Spring Boba

  • Lavender = floral, calming, elegant

  • Honey = natural sweetness (no artificial syrups needed)

  • Creamy milk + chewy pearls = comfort meets freshness

  • Light purple tones = total spring aesthetic

🌸 Ingredients (1–2 servings)

For the Boba Layer:

For the Lavender Honey Milk Tea:

  • 1 cup milk (oat milk works beautifully for floral notes)

  • 1 chai tea bag OR 1 black tea bag

  • ½ tsp culinary lavender (or ½ tsp lavender syrup)

  • 1½ tbsp honey (adjust to taste)

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • Ice (for iced version)

Optional Garnish:

  • Dried lavender buds

  • Edible flowers

  • Honey drizzle inside glass

  • Fresh mint leaf

🌿 Instructions

Remove tea bag and strain lavender if loose.
Stir in honey and vanilla.

Let cool if serving iced.

3️⃣ Assemble the Drink

For Iced Version:

  • Add boba to bottom of a clear glass

  • Fill with ice

  • Pour lavender milk tea over top

For Hot Version:

  • Add boba to mug

  • Pour warm lavender milk tea over pearls

4️⃣ Make It Spring-Pretty

Drizzle honey along inside of glass.
Top with edible flowers or a sprinkle of lavender.
Insert a wide straw.
