Ingredients

  • cup strawberries – use fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup brewed rose tea - chilled if making an iced version
  • strawberry boba pearls –  you can use any boba pearls, but Better Boba’s all natural strawberry boba pearls are our go to.
  • 1 - 2 tbsp sweetener (optional) – honey, maple syrup, agave, or your choice of sweetener.
  • ice cubes – this is optional, but encouraged

Instructions

How To Make Strawberry Bubble Tea

  • First, prepare the strawberry puree: (2-3 servings). The strawberry puree can be done a few different ways, but getting it right makes all the difference.  Sure the boba is the star of the show, but the strawberry puree is the supporting case. Any great team is only as good as its weakest link.

Prepare the Strawberry Puree

  • If using frozen strawberries, soak them in 3 tbsp sugar for 20 minutes, then blend until smooth. If using fresh strawberries, blend with 1 tbsp water and 1 tbsp sugar until smooth.

Brew the Rose Tea

  • Steep 1 cup of rose petal black tea in hot water for 5-7 minutes, then pour the brewed rose tea through a strainer to separate the tea leaves from the liquid. Let it chill if making iced tea.

Making The Strawberry Rose Fruit Tea (Love a different fruit? Go for it!)

  • Add Better Boba’s strawberry pearls to a glass. Top with ice.
  • Add 2-3 tbsp of strawberry puree.
  • Fill the cup with rose tea.
  • Stir and enjoy with a reusable boba straw!

Make It Extra Special!

  • Add a splash of sparkling water for a light, bubbly twist. Garnish with rose petals for a romantic touch. Pair with heart-shaped treats for the ultimate Valentine’s pairing.
